Toilet Repairs – Are they calling your name?
Are you having toilet problems? There could be a number of things that are causing it to not function properly.
One of the worst things a homeowner can do to a toilet is to put harsh chemical cleaners inside the toilet tank such as a large chlorine tablet. Most of these products available have acetone in them and that corrodes and dissolves the rubber parts inside your toilet tank, causing the tank to leak water into the bowl.
Be sure to check the label before using strong cleaning agents on plumbing fixtures to avoid corrosion and flushing toxins into your sewer line and and then into our water supply.
There are some green alternative toilet cleaning products available that are bio-degradable and have no phosphates. A quick internet search will find alternative homemade toilet cleaners with ingredients from your pantry.
