Kitchen Faucet Fiascos

It’s winter, and it’s early, really early, like 5-am early—time to get ready for work. First stop: the kitchen. Gotta make that coffee. Gotta wake up. Caffeine to the rescue.

So you plod over to the kitchen sink to fill the coffee pot, one eye open, the other desperately trying to squeeze out a few more seconds of sleep. (Why must the morning be so difficult?) And that’s when you get your wake-up call: cold water—and I mean the icky kind, the kind that’s just been hanging around, stagnant and shiftless, like a bad roommate—drip-drip-dripping on your toes.

That’s right, your kitchen faucet is leaking.

Certified Plumbing Company gets a lot of calls about leaky kitchen faucets. Often these leaks come from the hoses of spray heads that aren’t sufficiently tightened. If you have a leaky kitchen faucet, then, try tightening the hose to the spray head. This may save you a service call.

If this doesn’t work, however, there might be a more significant problem. In this case you’ll want to call us, Certified Plumbing Company, the Littleton plumbing experts also serving the Denver metro area, 303-795-7498. We’re masters of kitchen faucet replacement and repair, and we’ll make sure your toes don’t suffer from drip-drip-dripping this winter.

Until next time…
